The Russell Christian Academy Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Russell Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road last Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 57-46 to Eastwood Christian.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Tuscaloosa Christian beat Pickens Academy 43-37 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tuscaloosa Christian.
Tuscaloosa Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Anglin, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Anglin set a new season high mark in points with 20. Another player making a difference was Alec Joiner, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Russell Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Things could have been worse for Russell Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-29 loss to Tuscaloosa Christian in their previous meeting back in January.
