The Lafayette Rams entered their tilt with the Tabb Tigers with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. Lafayette breezed by Tabb at home  to the tune of  73-40 on Wednesday. That looming  73-40 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lafayette yet this  season.
 Lafayette's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Wayne Santos Jr led the charge by  scoring 18 points along with five  assists and three  steals. It was the first time this season that  Santos Jr  scored 15 or more points.  Jeremiah Harrison was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, Tabb saw an underclassman step up:  Micah Marbra  scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Landon Powell, who  scored eight points.
 Lafayette has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record  this season. As for Tabb, they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-17.
 Lafayette will head out on the road to  face off against  Bruton at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Lafayette has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 388 points over their last six games. Tabb will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Warhill at 7:00  p.m.  on February 9th.
