Auburn is 7-2 against the Minutemen since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Auburn Rockets will head out on the road to face off against the Bay Path RVT Minutemen at 6:30 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Auburn has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while the Minutemen will arrive with three straight wins.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Auburn, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-47 loss to the Panthers. Auburn has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Bay Path RVT on the road against the Bears on Friday as the squad secured a 59-29 victory.
It was another big night for Peter Barbale, who scored 12 points. Ed Simon was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Bay Path RVT, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Auburn beat the Minutemen 67-59 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Auburn since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
