Basketball Recap: Panhandle Christian Home Educators' Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Panhandle Christian Home Educators extended their winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Silas Osborne. The Panhandle Christian Home Educators Warriors blew past the San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots 76-49 on Friday thanks in part to Osborne, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played.

Despite the defeat, San Jacinto Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caleb Kinser posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Gates, who put up nine points.

Panhandle Christian Home Educators' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for San Jacinto Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Panhandle Christian Home Educators didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-56 victory against Happy on the 6th. As for San Jacinto Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-47 win against White Deer on the 6th.
