After losing to the Hundred Hornets the last time they met, the Wood County Christian Wildcat decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Wood County Christian snuck past Hundred with a 53-47 victory on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Hundred still got an impressive performance from Colt Sandy, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Bartrug, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Wood County Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hundred, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Wood County Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bridgeport at 7:30 p.m. As for Hundred, they will head out on the road to face off against Clay-Battelle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
