TERRA Environmental has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Westminster Christian Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully TERRA Environmental focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, TERRA Environmental came up short against Gulliver Prep and fell 49-38. TERRA Environmental has struggled against Gulliver Prep recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Francesca Rodriguez, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for she. The team also got some help courtesy of Angie Barrios, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Westminster Christian, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were dealt a 68-35 loss at the hands of Miami Christian on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Westminster Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 495th, while Miami Christian is ranked 247th).
TERRA Environmental's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Westminster Christian, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
TERRA Environmental lost to Westminster Christian on the road by a decisive 44-25 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can TERRA Environmental avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
