St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse were the 58-39 winner over the Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wildcats when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse suffered a rough 68-45 defeat at the hands of Wilbur-Creston-Keller on Saturday. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Matthew DeFord, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Brewer, who scored ten points.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wilbur-Creston-Keller, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse and Pomeroy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Pomeroy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday. Wilbur-Creston-Keller will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mary Walker at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
