A Season-Best Performance from Brendan Obrien Leads Shore Regional over Neptune
Brendan Obrien produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Shore Regional to the win on Thursday. Obrien rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
The victory for Shore Regional keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Obrien and Shore Regional will head out on the road to square off against Ocean Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brosnan Posts Huge Game in 21-14 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Liam Brosnan stepped things up a notch to give Point Pleasant Beach the 'W'. Brosnan was unstoppable, rushing for 168 yards and a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Brosnan could be in store for another big game when he takes on Manchester Township on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Brosnan saw the Hawks), he rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.

Underclassman Caleb Brown Comes Up Big Against Shore Regional
While Neptune couldn't topple Shore Regional on Thursday, it's impossible to ignore the impact made by underclassman Caleb Brown. Nobody could stop Brown as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Neptune: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
