It was fun while it lasted, but Tupelo's undefeated season came to an end after ten games on Saturday. They fell just short of the Madison Central Jaguars by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Golden Wave's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tupelo fell to 10-1. As for Madison Central, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Tupelo will take on Oxford in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Clinton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
