Elina Garcia made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off 12 hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Edison let Avea Niumata and Kaila Arakaki run wild. Niumata went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Arakaki went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles Arakaki has posted since back in February. Hannah Stolba was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Edison kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
