The Gregori Jaguars will be playing at home against the Pitman Pride at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gregori will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
Last Friday, Gregori took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 48-6 victory over Modesto. The result was nothing new for Gregori, who have now won three games by 24 points or more so far this season.
Michael Marsden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 208 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Marsden was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Deandre White Jr, who rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Pitman had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Enochs by a score of 22-10 on Friday.
Pitman can attribute much of their success to Andrew Azevedo, who threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Gregori's victory pushed their record up to 6-2, while Pitman's bumped their own up to the opposite: 2-6.
Gregori beat Pitman 28-21 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will Gregori repeat their success, or does Pitman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
