This season hasn't been kind to the Willamette Wolverines, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were the victim of a rough 70-47 defeat at the hands of North Eugene on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Willamette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while North Eugene is ranked 13th).

Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for Banry. Elias McKinnis was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Willamette's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Eugene, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willamette will take on West Albany at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. North Eugene will be home for the holidays to greet Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
