Doane Academy was led to victory by Kameron Fields and Nick Fusco. Fields scored 13 points along with two steals, while Fusco scored 25 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fields has scored all season. Hiatt Smith was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Morristown-Beard and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Doane Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-14.
Morristown-Beard will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bombers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Doane Academy will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against the Renegades at 10:00 a.m. on February 4th. Shawnee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the in New Jersey (the Renegades are ranked 88th, while the are ranked 347th).
