The Cedar Grove Saints lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They took a serious blow against Sandy Creek, falling 84-45. Cedar Grove was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-17.
Cedar Grove lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emmanuel Green, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Scott, who scored ten points.
This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Grove and nudges their season record down to 16-8. As for Sandy Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.
