The Argenta-Oreana Bombers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clinton Maroons at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Argenta-Oreana will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Argenta-Oreana gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  20-3 margin over Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland]. Argenta-Oreana's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Abby Jackson made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Jackson has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Jackson was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news, Argenta-Oreana got a  massive  performance out of  Kharma Giles, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Sophia Wicklund, who  scored four  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Clinton's offense. They suffered a  tough 7-0 loss at the hands of Meridian  on Monday. Considering the last time Clinton couldn't score was  back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.
 Argenta-Oreana pushed their record up to 13-2 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Clinton, they now  have a losing record at 8-9.
 Argenta-Oreana came out on top in a nail-biter against Clinton  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  11-9. Will Argenta-Oreana repeat their success,  or does  Clinton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
