DePaul Catholic hadn't done well against St. Joseph Regional recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Spartans walked away with a 7-4 win over the Green Knights. The Spartans' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

DePaul Catholic's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games.
