Orion got themselves on the board against Mendota on Friday, but Mendota never followed suit. They blew past the Trojans 7-0. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Orion has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Mendota, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8-1.

Looking ahead, Orion will face off against Sherrard at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Mendota, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-1 defeat against Princeton on the 26th.
