They took  a  5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Genoa-Kingston Cogs. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in April of 2024.
Stillman Valley's record is now 6-19. As for Genoa-Kingston, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stillman Valley will welcome Richmond-Burton  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Genoa-Kingston, they will square off against Byron at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their  20th straight  win, something the Cogs surely won't give up without a fight.
