 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jordan Markley, who  scored five  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Kaydence Clark, who  scored a  run while going 5-for-5.
 On East Noble's side,  Bella Montoya and  Shaye Ritchie did some serious damage despite the final result:  Montoya  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Ritchie  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aubrey Helmkamp, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.
 The  win  got Norwell back to even at 4-4. As for East Noble, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record  this season.

Carroll's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4  runs per game  this season, so Norwell's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for East Noble, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. East Noble is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
