Krum hasn't had much luck against Sanger recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bobcats will take on the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Krum is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
It was a proper cat-fight when Krum took on Van Alstyne last Friday. The Bobcats secured a 23-19 W over the Panthers. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Panthers are ranked 517th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Will Holland
| 10/03/25 vs Van Alstyne | 112 |
| 09/26/25 @ Caddo Mills | 163 |
| 09/19/25 @ Ranchview | 210 |
| 09/12/25 vs Lake Worth | 103 |
| 08/29/25 @ Wills Point | 206 |
Krum's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Holland, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD. Holland is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 103 every time he's taken the field this season. Lane Larson also helped out with an impressive 114 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sanger). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Van Alstyne 73-23. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 29 points or more this season.
Krum better keep an eye on Reginald Jones. He was instrumental in Sanger's win, rushing for 336 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.0 yards per carry. Jones' longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Another player making a difference was Reed Sebastian, who threw for 304 yards and three TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sanger was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 376 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 193 rushing yards in 13 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Sanger's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: JJ Mikas, Joshua Lindsey, and Dezmond Sampson, who each picked up one sack apiece. Sanger received some extra help from Bola Ogunwuyi, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Krum's record is now 5-0. As for Sanger, their record now sits at 5-2.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Holland and Jones. Holland just won't slow down this season and has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 158.8 rushing yards per game. Jones has been a dominant force too and has run in 18 touchdowns while averaging 210.9 rushing yards per game.
Krum suffered a grim 40-14 defeat to Sanger when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
