The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pleasant Grove, who took down 639th ranked Pleasant Grove, 36-7.
Pittsburg moved up to 679 from 762 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region II District 13. The Pirates climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Hawks 36-7.
Paris's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dakota Smith threw for 210 and four touchdowns and Quay Henderson had 90 yards receiving. On the ground Smith chipped in 158 yards. Kadarius Scott helped Paris' passing attack out by catching two balls for 28 yards.
Paris' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Keandre Robinson has thrown for 325 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Kenny Mason has 22 catches for 330 yards. Quay Scott leads the league in rushing with 280 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Wildcats take on Liberty-Eylau. Paris' offense has scored 268 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Leopards have allowed only 213 on the year.
A big matchup in 3A Region II District 13 this week will be when Liberty-Eylau takes on the Wildcats. At the moment, Brian Brown's team is in third, while Paris is in first.
There should be lots of points scored when the Leopards and the Wildcats face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Liberty-Eylau comes in having scored 32 this season, while Paris has scored 268. The Leopards scored 20 points last week as they lost to Atlanta.
