The Hot Springs County Bobcats came into Friday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lovell on Friday and snuck past 34-32. The victory was just what Hot Springs County needed coming off of a 47-27 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Hot Springs County to victory were Kamryn Farrell and Hanna Hill. Farrell scored ten points along with two steals, while Hill scored nine points. Farrell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
Hot Springs County's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12. As for Lovell, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Worland the next time they take the court. Lovell will head out to face Worland at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hot Springs County will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
