It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Joshua had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the South Hills Scorpions as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Owls, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Joshua is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for South Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15-2 record this season.

Joshua will have a chance to go back-to-back against South Hills: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
