Everything went Lamar's way against Timmonsville on Friday as they made off with a 42-8 victory. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Lamar, who can brag about six blowout wins.
Lamar's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 28 first-half points. Timmonsville countered with 8 points, leaving the score at 28-8 going into the half. Lamar put the match away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Lamar will take on Great Falls at home at 7:30 PM next week. Great Falls took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Lamar's good fortune. As for Timmonsville, they will face off against McBee. McBee enter the matchup touting a three-game streak of increasing point totals.
