Dodgeville fell victim to Portage and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Dodgers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Dodgeville got a good showing from Boone Rickard, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest earned runs Rickard has allowed since back in April.

At the plate, Dodgeville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Honerbaum, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Dodgeville's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Portage, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
