Harvest Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rylie Harris, who had 13 assists and four aces. Harris is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Harris wasn't the only good servers: Harvest Community was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, St. Edward's hadn't done well against Brevard HEAT recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Pirates walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Firehawks.
The win didn't come easy: Brevard HEAT scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 20-25, 25-21.
Harvest Community's victory bumped their record up to 21-9. As for St. Edward's, their win bumped their record up to 18-11.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Harvest Community has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9.3 aces per game. However, it's not like St. Edward's struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
