Victor is 6-0 against Churchville-Chili since September of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Victor Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Churchville-Chili Saints at 7:00 p.m. Victor will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Friday, Victor was able to grind out a solid win over Spencerport, taking the game 33-22. Given Victor's advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Spencerport is ranked 217th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Victor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adam Ruffalo, who picked up 120 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Drevariis Yeomas, who rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Churchville-Chili was the victim of a rough 27-7 defeat at the hands of Webster Schroeder on Friday.
Victor's victory bumped their season record to 8-0 while Churchville-Chili's loss dropped theirs to 6-3.
Victor barely slipped by Churchville-Chili in their previous matchup on October 7th, winning 20-19. Will Victor repeat their success, or does Churchville-Chili have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
