Academy of the Holy Names's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians as Academy of the Holy Names made off with a 71-49 victory. Academy of the Holy Names has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rae Napierski, who posted 11 points. The dominant performance also gave Napierski a new career-high in blocks (two). Masey Raymond was another key player, going 6 for 14 on her way to 14 points.

Academy of the Holy Names' win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Academy of the Holy Names wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-28 victory against Saratoga Springs on the 28th. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk has also already played their next match, a 65-35 defeat against Troy on the 27th.
