It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Parkway Center City ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They slipped by the Motivation Jaguars 66-65. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Motivation still got an impressive performance from Chace White, who posted 31 points. Motivation is 5-1 when White posts 20 or more points, but 3-5-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Divevea Smith, who had 13 points.

Parkway Center City's record now sits at 2-7. As for Motivation, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6-1.

Parkway Center City will host High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. High School of the Future is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.8 points per game this season. As for Motivation, they will head out to challenge Mariana Bracetti Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
