Trinity Christian extended their postseason success on Saturday against Mount Pisgah Christian. They won by a  set and slipped past the Patriots  3-2. The  win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on six straight.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Trinity Christian got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-16, 21-25, 25-23, 19-25,  15-7.
 Lanie Starcher was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 17  digs and five  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in August.
 They weren't the only good servers: Trinity Christian  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 12 consecutive  contests.
  Corinna Kelsh and  Emily Childress certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss.  Kelsh  had seven  digs and two  aces, while  Childress  had 12  digs and two assists. Childress is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's  played.
Trinity Christian's record is now 27-9. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 33-17.
 Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will face off against Holy Innocents Episcopal at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Mount Pisgah Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
