Neshaminy (Langhorne, Pa.) bested William Tennent (Warminster, Pa.) 41-7 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Lord touchdown run in the first quarter, the Redskins were up 35-0 at the half.
Neshaminy expanded its lead to 41 points entering the fourth quarter. NHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Hamiid Pack.
A big 21-point first quarter helped the Langhorne school secure the win. The Redskins scored on a touchdown run by Lord, a Pollard touchdown run and a
Tyler Wombough touchdown pass to
Blake Sullivan in the quarter.
William Tennent's only touchdown came on a 33-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 39-15 win for Neshaminy.
The defeat comes as a step back for William Tennent, who notched a 24-14 victory over Upper Moreland in its previous outing. With the win NHS extended its winning streak to four games.
Neshaminy (4-0) goes up against Harry S. Truman in a Suburban One - National game matchup next week, while William Tennent (1-3) locks horns with Council Rock North also in a Suburban One - National game.
