Orosi has not had much luck with Summit Charter Collegiate Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Orosi's loss came despite strong showings from Ramiro Garcia and Bryant Gomez. Garcia almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds, while Gomez scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Glenn Fermin, who scored six points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Orosi's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orosi will take on Lindsay at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lindsay is coming into the game with 13 straight losses on the road, meaning Orosi will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, they will be playing at home against Orange Cove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Summit Charter Collegiate Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Orange Cove surely won't give up without a fight.
