The Ridgecroft Rams can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northeast Academy 79-31 on the road. 79 seems to be a good number for Ridgecroft as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Antron Gray, who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 24 points and 0 assists. Another player making a difference was Baylor Edwards, who scored 16 points.
Northeast Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Judson Smith, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds. Jake Parks was another key contributor, scoring six points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Ridgecroft and bumps their season record up to 14-5. As for Northeast Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgecroft won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pungo Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Pungo Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Ridgecroft likes a good challenge. As for Northeast Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Lawrence Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
