Jordan has gone a perfect 3-0 against Green Level recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Falcons will host the Gators at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Jordan's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Panther Creek. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.
Thomas Dean looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Matt Beaulieu was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Nick Stewart, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double.
Jordan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Green Level hadn't done well against Apex recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Gators walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Cougars. The game was the first time the Gators have beaten the Cougars on their field since March 29, 2022.
Chase Meyers made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He is becoming a predictor of Green Level's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 5-2 (and 4-6 when he doesn't). Meyers was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isaiah Hytmiah, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Green Level is 3-1 when Hytmiah posts three or more hits, but 6-7 otherwise. Tommy Gingerich was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Jordan's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Green Level, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Jordan was able to grind out a solid victory over Green Level when the teams last played back in April of 2022, winning 18-15. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
