Dunbar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kobey Babernitch, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Babernitch has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clarence Alexander, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Dunbar and bumps their season record up to 5-14. As for Family Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Dunbar won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bears at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Palmetto Ridge will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Family Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
