After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chambers, The North Mecklenburg Vikings were happy to have found some success on Friday. They didn't even let Hopewell onto the board and left with a 21-0 win. The result was nothing new for North Mecklenburg, who have now won three games by 21 points or more so far this season.
North Mecklenburg's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Hopewell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Mecklenburg will challenge West Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Charlotte will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Hopewell, they will head out on the road to face off against Hough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hough will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
