Bloomfield has struggled against East Hartford recently, as their contest on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Manchester posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Enfield and snuck past 51-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Manchester.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manchester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tiara Tyson, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Tyson has scored at least a third of Manchester's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Ryan, who scored 16 points.
Bloomfield's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Manchester, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
