While Bourbon didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Kingston Cougars 20-5 on Friday. The War Hawks haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Bourbon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for Kingston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bourbon will head out to square off against Stoutland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingston, they will venture away from home to take on Valle Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
