Tippecanoe (Tipp City, Ohio) put an additional 17 points on the board on top of its 30-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Indian Lake (Lewistown, Ohio) 47-7.
After taking the lead on a
Jacob Hall touchdown run in the first quarter, the Red Devils led 28-0 at the half.
Tippecanoe expanded its lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. THS's lone score in the quarter came on a safety.
Hall was the top performer for the Tipp City school. The junior ran for three touchdowns.
The Lakers' lone touchdown came on a kick return in the fourth quarter.
The Red Devils also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 42-6.
With the win Tippecanoe extended its winning streak to four games. The loss was the third in a row for Indian Lake.
In a non-conference game next week Tippecanoe (4-0) takes on Logan, and Indian Lake (1-3) will go up against Bellefontaine also in a non-conference game.
