Despite the loss, Lewis Cass still got an impressive performance from L.j. Hillis, who scored ten points. The contest was Hillis' third in a row with at least ten points.
Northfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Leming, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Baer, who scored ten points.
Lewis Cass' loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Northfield, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
Lewis Cass will take on Rochester at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Rochester is ranked 314th, while Lewis Cass is ranked 292nd). Northfield won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Madison-Grant at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th. Madison-Grant is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
