The Florala Wildcats waltzed into their matchup  Saturday with three straight wins  but they left with four. They blew past Pleasant Home 61-40. That  61-40 margin sets a new team best for Florala this season.
 Florala's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Elijah  McMeans, who  scored 21 points along with nine  rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rayshon Coleman, who  scored 15 points along with seven  assists.
 Florala's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Pleasant Home, their defeat  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Florala and Straughn will face off  at 5:30  p.m.  on December 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pleasant Home will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Luverne at 4:30  p.m.  on December 28th.
