Softball Recap: Tolar Has No Trouble Against Dublin

Tolar never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Dublin Lions 15-0. Considering the Rattlers have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lillie Uselton was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Uselton was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Tolar let Allyson Dobbs and Senne Imel run wild. Dobbs scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3, while Imel scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Dobbs has posted since back in May of 2024. Ava Massey was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Tolar was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .682. They are 6-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Tolar has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. Dublin is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Coming up, Tolar will take on Breckenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dublin, they will face off against Millsap at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
