Salmen lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Parris Powell, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Destiny Bennett, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Salmen has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for Northshore, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.
Salmen will head out on the road to square off against St. Scholastica at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in St. Scholastica's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home while Salmen has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Northshore will take on Edna Karr at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
