Blanchester had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Clark Montessori Cougars an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Blanchester, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Clark Montessori from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Emily Adkins led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Blanchester's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-2. As for Clark Montessori, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3-1 record this season.
