Basketball Recap: St. Edmund Prep Finds Home Court Redemption Against Fordham Prep

There's no place like home for St. Edmund Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Sunday. They came out on top against the Fordham Prep Rams by a score of 67-55 on Tuesday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 55-43 win the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

When it comes to explaining why Fordham Prep lost, don't look at Brian Kapfer. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 19 en route to 29 points and three steals. The match was Kapfer's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dylan McElhatton, who posted eight points and nine rebounds.

St. Edmund Prep's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.0 points per game.
