Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask West Johnston). Everything went their way against the Smithfield-Selma Spartans on Thursday as they made off with  a  26-8 win. The  victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on seven straight.
 Faith Chapman was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Savannah Hall was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, five  runs,  and five  RBI. Those  five  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Paige Cabell, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs and one  triple.
 West Johnston  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .652. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
