 Meanwhile, Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight  defeat. They took a  blow against Milpitas, falling  45-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Trojans are ranked 54th).
 Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Los Altos, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
