  Kole Olszewski made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Olszewski was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Bishop Canevin let  Tyler Maddix and  Dom Varley loose on the outfield. Maddix  went 2-for-2 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI, while  Varley  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Varley is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last seven games he's  played.  Mason Glover was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Carlynton was able to grind out a solid  win over McKeesport on Thursday, taking the game  6-2. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Carlynton.
 The team  relied heavily on  Jacob Hughes, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Bishop Canevin pushed their record up to 9-3 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Carlynton, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal.
