Mason got themselves on the board against Christoval on Friday, but Christoval never followed suit. They took their game with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over the Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Punchers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Mason's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Christoval, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-3.

Mason and Christoval will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Punchers see the field they'll take on Thorndale at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Christoval, their break will end when they face Colorado at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
