Indian Hill had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They never let the Deer Park Wildcats get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Parker Stagge made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Derek Zee looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

Back at the plate, Ben Sichel and Brady Drost did most of the damage at the plate: Sichel went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Drost went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Aidan Kincaid, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Indian Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Indian Hill pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Deer Park, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coming up, Indian Hill will square off against Ross at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Rams have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Deer Park will be paying especially close attention to Indian Hill's contest: after Indian Hill faces off against Ross, they'll take on Deer Park again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
